How fast is "10 seconds to buy crypto"?
For an existing user with a verified card: open, enter an amount, confirm, done. About 10 seconds. First-time users complete KYC once (5–10 minutes), then see the same fast flow.
Do you have an offer for switchers?
Yes. New accounts get 0% trading fees for their first 30 days, and we have step-by-step guides for moving your crypto over.
Is Rumos available in my country?
See our supported countries page. We're live across the EU and, as of 2026, in the United States via our BitGo partnership.
Is crypto risky for beginners?
Prices can move a lot in a single day, and past performance doesn't predict the future. Our lessons and workshops help you understand the risks and make better-informed decisions, though they can't remove the risk. Start small, and only use money you can afford to lose.
Is Rumos the same as CryptoUnity?
Yes. Rumos is what CryptoUnity has grown into. It takes everything CryptoUnity built and brings it to the next level, with the same account and your crypto still held by BitGo.
Custody & security
Who holds my crypto?
Your crypto is kept with BitGo, our regulated custody partner, in segregated accounts separate from Rumos' own money. That is standard practice for regulated crypto services. You manage everything through your Rumos account. In the EU, the custodian is BitGo Europe GmbH, authorised under MiCA by BaFin.
What happens if Rumos goes out of business?
Customer crypto is not on Rumos' balance sheet. It sits in segregated accounts with our regulated custody partner BitGo, separate from Rumos' own money, so it is never mixed with the company's funds.
Is Rumos regulated?
Rumos is a beginner-friendly app for learning about and buying crypto, and is not itself a licensed financial institution. Custody and execution are handled by BitGo, a regulated custodian. See our disclaimer for details.
Fees & withdrawals
How much does it cost to buy crypto?
A flat percentage applies to each trade. New accounts also get 0% trading fees for their first 30 days. You will always see the exact amount and any fee before you confirm a buy.
How do I withdraw to my bank?
SEPA across the EU, ACH and wire in the US. From the app: Wallet → Withdraw → Bank. SEPA is usually same-day in the EU.
Can I move crypto to my own wallet?
Not yet. Sending crypto to an outside wallet is being built. For now, you can sell and withdraw to your bank.
Workshops & creators
Are workshops free?
Yes. Most are fully free; a small set of advanced tracks unlock with the app. Workshops never have ads.
Can I create content as a creator?
Yes. Apply via our creators portal. Approved creators publish workshops, videos, and articles directly to the Rumos platform.
